Flowers from The Farm

How my business is supported by Flowers from the Farm, a close network of flower farmers throughout the UK.

When I launched The Unwalled Garden back in 2021, one of the first things I did was become a member of Flowers From The Farm - this is a fantastic organisation that has created a network of 1000 flower farmers & small scale growers across the UK which champion the British Flower Movement, and make buying locally possible no matter where you are.

Flowers from the Farm was created in 2011 when founder Gill Hodson was on the search for a community she could join to meet other local flower farmers, when she couldn’t find anything she decided to launch one herself! Since then, Flowers from the Farm has gone onto showcase British Flowers at Chelsea Flower Show, winning Gold in 2018, elevate British Flowers Week into a national event each year, as well as work closely with the G.O.A.T Shane Connolly on events such as the Coronation of King Charles III.

As a florist and a grower I find the knowledge and support of Flowers from the Farm invaluable when it comes to both the practical skills of growing flowers, and supplying them in huge quantities to create installations for my clients. We are a tight-knit community and weather the storms, rabbits and heatwaves together to ensure that our clients always receive the best of the natural world around them.

If you are reading this from further afield than the Cotswolds, they also have a fantastic tool on their website which means you can search for florists and flower growers in any region of the UK, whether you need a bucket of flowers, bouquet or a local florist to bring your vision to life.
