The Unwalled Garden, is a creative floral studio based in the heart of the Cotswolds between Cirencester and Cheltenham. Founded by Demelza, we provide a bespoke service of luxury floral design combined with sustainable practices, celebrating the best of what nature has to offer.
Our onsite flower farm ensures we use only the finest nature has to offer, growing for brides and bees alike. Our design ethos reflects the changing seasons, inspired by the beauty of the natural world, fulfilling floral dreams straight from our garden.

Demelza has always been drawn to creating meaningful experiences. Before founding The Unwalled Garden, she spent over a decade in theatre and event production, training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and working on iconic projects such as the London 2012 Olympics, Jaguar Land Rover product launches, and London Fashion Week. This background instilled in her a deep understanding of atmosphere, scale, and storytelling—skills that now shape her floral designs.
Today, her work is rooted in a love of the countryside and the ever-changing seasons. Inspired by what’s growing in hedgerows, meadows, and gardens, Demelza brings the outside in—creating floral environments that feel alive, expressive, and deeply personal.
Each arrangement balances natural beauty with thoughtful detail, combining grand gestures with quiet moments. Whether designing for a wedding, event, or seasonal installation, Demelza believes flowers are not just decoration—they evoke emotion, spark memory, and help tell your story.

Our floral style is deeply rooted in the rhythm of the seasons and the beauty nature offers. We take inspiration from what’s growing in hedgerows and gardens at the time of your wedding—bringing the outside in to create something spectacular, whether it’s an intimate detail or a grand installation.
Rather than tightly packed domes, we let each flower shine. Guided by their natural shapes, colours, and textures, we design arrangements that feel organic, expressive, and truly one of a kind.

We see every wedding as a piece of artwork, carefully crafted putting your vision first. We purposefully only take on select weddings each year to ensure that we give our whole hearts into each design. I love creating the unique for my couples, there is no ‘off the shelf’ or one size fits all approach.
Our first step is to listen and learn, we love to hear your story as a couple as well as all of your ideas and plans before then creating a vision for you that encompasses the style of your celebration, British seasonality and the unique personal touches that make the floral design unique to you.

Alongside our strong design-led process we are also passionate about bringing British Flowers to the forefront of floral design. As a designer I truly believe that the flowers I can source locally surpass anything I can buy in the international market, we have our own onsite flower farm as well as working with a network of British flower farmers, ensuring that our designs are filled with impact, detail and seasonality.
